A Circa 1840 Chinese Carved Sandalwood Brisé Fan, Qing Dynasty, a central oval carved with initials, surrounded by a scene of flowers, buildings and foliage. The tips of each stick feature figures trees and buildings, the guards having the addition of dragons. Nineteen lightly carved inner sticks. Diamanté rivet, guard length 19cm. The verso is plain

Generally good, with very slight warping to inner sticks. Ribbon sound.
