In fair overall condition, original canvas, some surface dirt and discoloured varnish. The branches of the trees on the upper right hand side have been strengthened as have sporadic darker elements in the lower right hand corner and a small amount of small scale spots around the front legs and paws of the right hand side dog. There is further sporadic re-touching in the background on the upper right hand side and again within the lower left hand side corner and foreground. There is approximately four areas of paint loss approximate centre of lower edge (images can be sent if required), the largest being approximately 2cm x 1cm, there are 3/4 relatively small and stable areas of cracking and crazing around the figures right hand shin, lap and left hand knee and also at the top of the left hand side dogs head and neck area. Minor rubbing to edges, small scratch with loss right hand side approximate centre, further isolated and stable less prominent craquelure elsewhere.
