♦Charles I, Shilling, Tower Mint under the King, mm portcullis (1633-34); obv. fourth bust with falling lace collar, rev. garnished quartered oval shield with C R at sides, beaded inner circles, S.2789, king’s facial features & 2nd quarter of shield weak o/wise full flan with good edge & surfaces & with full clear legends, Fine to GFine, parts better.
