Taxidermy: A Wall Cased Pair of Black Caps (Sylvia atricapilla), dated 2014, by A.J. Armitstead, Taxidermy, Darlington, Co Durham, a superb quality pair of full mount adults, the male perched upon a small branch with beak agape in calling pose, above the female below tending her nest of five replica eggs, amidst a setting of faux ivy leaves and branches, set against a watercolour painted woodland scene back drop, enclosed within a wall mounted five-glass oak framed display case, 31.5cm by 10cm by 51.5cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to verso.
