The top right hand corner and far right hand side of top edge have sustained a slightly more significant area of loss. There is a small cluster of small sized nicks and scuffs towards the upper left hand corner, 4-6 in total. There are very sporadic tiny losses/flaked paint within the stone on the left hand side, within the foliage at the base of the tree and another cluster of losses slightly away from the lower edge within the lower left hand corner and the leaves denoted within the general vicinity. There is the odd sporadic scuff/abrasion. Covered in a layer of dirt and discoloured varnish. Canvas slightly loose on stretcher. Not examined with a UV light.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
