1841 line-engraved used group on album pages, 1d reds incl. SG.9 worn plate strip of five with margins all round, then an excellent page of 2d blue 'lines' issues including a magnificent pale blue (SG.13) postmarked solely by Burslem town cancel with superb margins (save close at end of scissor cut) including part of lower stamp, showing unusual printing-ink streaks, then a four margin deep full blue shade (SG.15) with maximum full and clear horizontal strike of Stirling cds - another ideal stamp. Also a respectable '12' in cross on SG.14 (cat. £550) though lacking left margin, and four penny reds with town cancels though the stamps cut-into or poor margins. Minimum catalogue for the two 2d blue town cancels alone £6,000.
