Harraden, R. Cantabrigia Depicta. Cambridge: R. Harraden and Son, 1809/1811. 4to, full calf, spine gilt in compartments, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers; engraved title 1809, dedicatory letter 1811, verso blank, [4 (contents)], 226, [4 (Patronizers)]; 35 engraved plates, ?missing list of engravings; provenance - Caroline Peters (owner's bookplate to upper pastedown, gift inscription to C[aroline] M[ary] S[usannah] from H[enry] P[eters] on blank. An illustrated history of the colleges and town of Cambridge. Henry Peters was MP for Beverley. He married Caroline in 1814. After her early death in 1817 he caused a scandal by eloping with the wife of distinguished Peninsular veteran John Clitherow.

Some wear to boards from use, slight cracking and loss to joints at foot of spine, occasional slight spotting internally with some offsetting from plates, otherwise a nice copy.
