Antlers/Horns: Himalyan Serow, Nilgai, Mid-Asian Ibex horns, circa 1897-1898, India, a set of Himalayan Serow adult male horns on cut upper frontlet, right horn 21.5cm, left horn 21cm, tip to tip 10.5cm, mounted upon an oval shaped mahogany shield, bearing paper label "78, Greig, Serow", reference within game book entry, - the following 24 specimens were killed by George Greig, late 93rd Highldrs, and sent here in 1899 on the death of Col A.C. Nightingale in whose house they were hung". a set of young adult male Nilgai horns on cut upper skull cap, mounted upon a shaped ebonised shield, painted number 10a to shield, reference within game book entry - " Horns of Nilgai or Nilgae, shot somewhere near Delhi, i think", a set of female Mid-Asian Ibex horns on cut upper skull, mounted upon a shaped ebonised shield, painted number 21 to shield, reference within game book entry - "is a good specimen I think a female Ibex shot in Tilail, i have not had an opportunity to compare it's size with others" (3)
