Taxidermy: A Victorian Diorama of Shelducks (Tadorna tadorna), by Henry Ward, Late Williams, 2 Vere Street, Oxford Street, London, 1812-1878, a pair of full mounts drake and hen with three chicks below, all mounted upon a large faux riverbank setting, amidst ferns and tall grasses, a pair of juvenile rabbits to the one corner, set against a watercolour painted dusk scene back board, enclosed within a large period scumbled pine single-glass display case, 91.5cm by 30.5cm by 91.5cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior lower left
