Taxidermy: A Cased Ring-Necked Pheasant & Golden Plover, by Bill Cox, 1887-1951, 36 Manchester Street, Liverpool, a full mount Cock Pheasant stood atop a wooden log, a female Golden Plover full mount stood behind upon a large faux rock, both amidst ferns above soil groundwork, set against a typical watercolour painted meadow scene backboard, enclosed within an ebonised three-glass display case with gilded moulding, 74.5cm by 23cm by 57cm, signed in pencil to interior upper right
