Armitstead, Taxidermist & Naturalist, Darlington, Co Durham, a superb quality charm of full mount adult Goldfinches, one in flying pose above a second perched atop a broken fence post, a third clinging to barbed wire below, all mounted amidst a natural setting of tall grasses leaves and fauna, set against a watercolour painted backdrop, enclosed within an oak framed wall hanging five-glass display case with gilded mouldings, 38cm by 13cm by 48.5cm, excluding outer frame, signed and dated to interior lower right, taxidermist's full paper trade label to verso

To include a collection of Indian and European Game Trophies from Kilberry Castle, Argyll. Many of the trophies date from the second half of the 19th century, with rare and historical specimens including Asian Water Buffalos, Astor Markhors, Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards and Himalayan Tahr.
