A Dutch Diplomat's Sword, the 76.5cm triangular section fullered steel blade bearing traces of etched decoration, the brass hilt with shell guard cast with the coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with foliate cast knuckle bow and baluster pommel, with mother of pearl grip scales, lacks scabbard; an 18th Century Infantry Officer's Sword, with 77.5cm single edge fullered steel blade, the gilt brass stirrup hilt with shell cast boat shape guard, bud quillons and copper wire bound grip with fluted ovoid pommel, lacks scabbard; a 1786 Pattern Infantry Officer's Dress Sword, the 81.5cm single edge fullered steel blade with traces of bluing, engraved and gilt with the Royal coat of arms, crowned GR cypher, martial trophies and Warranted, the back edge signed in gilt Woolley & Deakin, the gilt brass stirrup hilt with double shell guard cast and chased with foliage, with foliate sheathed quillon, silver wire bound grip and foliate sheathed urn finial, with a brass mounted leather scabbard, lacks suspension ring (3)

1 - Etching of the blade is very faint. The mother of pearl grip scales are chipped and cracked. 2 - Black patching to blade with nicks to edge and damage to the tip. Minor wear to the gilding. 3 - Pitting to the blade, with tiny nicks to edge. Hilt with wear to the gilding, a break to the top of the knuckle bow and a small break in the silver wire binding. The leather scabbard has a crease to one side half way down. There is no evidence that it has had a suspension ring.
