Antlers/Horns: Mid-Asian Ibex (Capra sibirica alaiana), circa 1868, Tilail Valley, Kashmir, Northern India, a set of large adult horns on cut upper skull, right horn 98.5cm (38½"), left horn 97cm (38"), tip to tip 61cm, mounted upon an ebonised shield, painted number 28 to shield, reference within game book entry - "No. 28 Ibex shot in Tilail Kashmir in 1868 - 38½ inches".

To include a collection of Indian and European Game Trophies from Kilberry Castle, Argyll. Many of the trophies date from the second half of the 19th century, with rare and historical specimens including Asian Water Buffalos, Astor Markhors, Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards and Himalayan Tahr.
