Taxidermy: A Late Victorian European Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo), circa 1880-1900, a large good quality full mount adult with head turning to the right, glass eyes, perched atop a broken lichen encrusted tree stump, above moss covered groundwork beneath, enclosed beneath a large period circular glass dome, with original ebonised base, diameter 35cm, overall height 81cm, previously displayed within Holland & Holland Gunmakers showroom, Bruton St, London.
