Ocelot (Leo pardus pardalis), by Rowland Ward, circa 1920, head mount, open snarling jaw and forward gaze, on original oak shield with The Jungle label, care label and gouged RW, 19.5cm from the wall; Cougar (Puma concolor), by Rowland Ward, circa 1920, head mount, turning slightly to the left with open jaw, on original oak shield with The Gallery of Natural History label, care label and gouged RW, 25.5cm from the wall; and A Pair of Greater Kudu Horns, 94cm (straight measured) (3)

Ocelot - ears damaged, particularly right ear which has split right along the edge revealing plaster. Left ear with protruding wire and thin/splitting. Fur is thinning in places, particularly behind the eyes, between the eyes, under the chin, at the back of the neck. Whiskers on right side of snout mainly existing, numerous loss on left side. Jaw and gums good. Large nail hammered to wood shield. Back of shield good with good label and gouge marks. Cougar - very dirty. Ears worn and rim of left ear starting to split. Right ear generally good. T shape bald patch on top of head. Side whiskers mainly intact, or foreshortened. Right hand side some shortened whiskers surviving only. Jaw generally good with just slight cracking (only requiring cosmetic patching up. Stitching under chin slightly opening. The shield has a hole, previously where a nail existed towards the top of the shield. Back of shield good. Kudu horns - natural wear and tear, but structurally sound. 040214
