shaped circular and on rocaille cast openwork feet, with openwork sides below the gadrooned border, with overhead loop handle, with supports for the five associated glass bottles, four with differing silver or silver plate mounts, two engraved with a differing crest

Fully marked under stand. The sides and handle each part marked. One cover and bottle is apparently unmarked, circa 1750, another is marked with lion passant and another indistinct mark, circa 1750; another is marked for Birmingham, circa 1820 and another is probably silver plate, 20th century. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The cartouche on the stand has been erased. There are chips and scratches to the glass bottles, some of which are 18th century and other which are later.
