The brooch is in fair condition, there are two diamonds deficient and chips and nibbles throughout commensurate with age and wear, there is also evidence of lead solder to the reverse. It fastens with a pin and visor catch. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as silver and gold. Pear shaped diamond 1 - 8.45mm x 5.39mm x 3.94mm approximately. Pear shaped diamond 2 - 8.29mm x 5.65mm x 3.88mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour K/L/M, clarity SI1/SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 10.3 grams. CR made 07.02.23.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
