. Ledger 1- spine is split to the ledger and very scuffed to the edges of the binding. Ledger 2 - replacement card and paper mounted binding, a number of pages ripped and stained, couple of loose pages and tears to edges, a lot of the pages have 'brown' impressions that have been made by the designs. Handwritten to the top of the pages in pencil are 'Schwailz Hugenin 1864, Steinbach 1864, Sclumberger F** & Cie, 1865, Dolfus Wieg 1865, these designs could have been added to an earlier/different book..

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
