Taxidermy: A Matched Pair of Large Victorian Domes of North and South American Tropical Birds, two large period domes comprising a varied collection of twenty five interesting birds including - Eastern Blue Birds, Red-headed Woodpecker, Purple Finch, Hairy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks, Baltimore Orioles, two Yellow-Shafted Northern Flickers, Brown Headed Cow bird, Yellow Warbler, American Redstart, three Red-Winged Blackbirds, Snow Bunting, Scarlet Tanagers, Eastern Meadowlarks, Red-Legged Honey Creeper, Belted Kingfisher, all mounted upon centrally positioned tree branches, issuing from moss covered groundwork, with painted faux rocks beneath, each enclosed beneath large period domes, 72cm by 32cm including base, and 75cm by 32cm including base (cracked), each mounted upon a circular gilt base

the largest of the domes has a sliver of glass missing from the rear of the dome which has been removed and covered with a protective plastic repair, covering to prevent any further damage, approximately 21cm by 7.5cm, not immediately noticeable from the front, Rob 21/01/19
