The earrings are in good condition, however there are fractures running through the lapis lazuli, they have been adapted from another piece of jewellery. The lapis lazuli measure 16.50mm x 12.50mm approximately and 18.00mm x 13.40mm approximately. The reverse of the earrings are stamped '14K', the posts are hallmarked 18 carat gold, one for 'GW', Edinburgh (import), 1998, the other 'GVW?', London (import), 1997. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 12.5 grams. CR 09.02.23.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
