Antler Furniture: A German Antler Armchair, circa 1860-70, formed from a frame of antlers (specially selected and cut to precise shape), with arched back and triple pairs of points to the back rests, the rails formed from halved antlers, and on the arched legs, the cushioned seat covered with a Blue Wildebeest flank skin, 108cm high, 65cm wide (maximum)

Construction of this type has been attributed to the workshops of Johann August Karl Horns
