Taxidermy: A Large Case of Golden Pheasants (Chrysolophus pictus), by William Farren, 1862-1965, 76 Regent Street, Cambridge, a large case containing two cock birds, one stood upon a large painted faux rock facing to the left, the other in crouch low position again stood upon painted faux rock work, both amidst ferns, tall grasses and brush, set against a painted dusk scene back board, enclosed within a large ebonised three-glass display case, 106.5cm by 27cm by 68cm, taxidermist's small full paper trade label to interior glass lower left
