Taxidermy: A Cased Silver Pheasant (Lophura nycthemera), circa early 21st century, a full mount period adult cockbird, stood upon a low square plinth, set against a pale wash painted interior, enclosed within a single-glass green painted display case, 92.5cm by 22.5cm by 50.5cm, mounted very much in the manner of North East Taxidermist's such as Robert Duncan and Joseph Cullingford, each adopted this simple, clean, yet very effective process of letting the natural beauty of the specimen show, and not be overpowered by a cluttered interior
