A Large Late 19th Century White Mother-of-Pearl Fan, the monture's only detail being a shape to the head. The substantial cream gauze leaf is painted with sprays of daisies and birds perched on the branch of a dog rose. Signed top left "Eudes". Guard length 15.75 inches or 35cm. Together with Two Further Early 20th Century Fans, one of bone with a cream gauze leaf and white machine lace overlay, guard length 9.75 inches or 25cm, the other of wood painted white, and silvered, the cream gauze leaf painted in pastels with flowers embroidered with silver sequins, and various designs formed from tapelace of the "cucumber lace" technique. Guard length 9.25 inches or 23.5 cm. Adorned with a cream silk tassel with plaited loop for closure (4)

The MOP fan is sound, extremely light marks here and there. The second fan is sound and clean, the third fan has some splits forming in the gauze.
