This mother and daughter duo from Wolverhampton were extremely talented with a needle, producing intricate and detailed embroidery, 'upcycling' white works from the 1920s onwards using existing linen to embroider and create decorative cushions, pyjama cases, drawstring bags etc. Paula Ginns, an American collector/dealer from Denver USA bought a considerable amount of their work. The following items have been carefully packed away and stored for the last 50 years.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.

Highlights include quilts from Cumbria, a private collection of late 19th and early 20th century quilts from Great Britain, the United States and Canada, and a good selection of dolls. Amongst the luxury designer goods is a selection of Louis Vuitton luggage, a collection of 1990s designer outfits, a variety of 20th century costume, and modern perfumes.
