Taxidermy: An Edwardian Cased Pair of Australian Wild Duck, circa 1904, by Rowland Ward, 166 Piccadilly, London, a pair of full mounts, hen and drake, more commonly known now as Pacific Black Duck (Anas superciliosa), these examples have become faded over time, the drake stood above the hen preening his feathers, the hen laid below with head turned resting on her back, both mounted upon soil groundwork, amidst ferns, enclosed within a typical five-glass table display case with taped frame, 47cm by 26cm by 47cm, bearing ivorine label to interior Australian Wild Duck.
