An Early 20th Century Advertising Fan for "Princes Hotel and Restaurant, Piccadilly London", the double paper leaf mounted on wooden sticks painted white, the recto showing a country maid selling posies of flowers, the reserves decorated with floral swags and classical stone ornaments on which land a pair of white doves. Together with A Shaped Paper Fan Adverting The "May Fair Hotel" and printed with three vignettes in pink and blue, the central study that of perhaps Marie Antoinette, the side vignettes both showing cherubs at play; and An Advertising Fan For "The Midland Hotel Restaurant", the double paper leaf mounted on simple sticks, the recto printed in green and gold on cream and showing two social levels of courting couples. The verso is plain (3)
