An Edward VII Silver and Enamel Sovereign-Case
Maker's Mark Lacking, Birmingham, 1901

celebration the coronation of King Edward VII, circular and with suspension loop, the hinged cover enamelled with the Royal crown above the date 'June 26th 1902', the base engraved with the Royal cypher of Edward VII, opens to reveal a spring-loaded compartment for a sovereign
52mm high including suspension loop, gross weight 1oz, 31gr

Part marked inside cover and on frame which supports the sovereign holder. There is wear to the marks. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with and and use. There is some scratching to the enamel as well as some chips to the enamel on the cypher. There is a bruise to the back.
