Taxidermy: A Superb Victorian Cased Western-Horned Tragopan and Himalayan Monal, by Henry Ward, Late Williams, 2 Vere Street, Oxford St, London, 1812-1878, both full mounts, the Tragopan stood atop a large faux rock with head turning to the left, the Monal looking straight ahead stood below, both amidst a natural setting of ferns, brush and tall grasses, with a central branch to the rear, seta against a pale blue painted sky back board, enclosed within a large four-glass table display case with ebonised taped frame, 92cm by 31cm by 81cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior lower left
