Gregorian Chant
Tradent enim vos in conciliis. [nd, likely 13th/14th c.]. Six lines of text written on vellum in textura bookhand between six lines of square-note neumes on a four-line stave of red, rubrics in red, one-line initial of red with illuminated floral decoration, with three-sided illuminated floral border, framed and glazed.
TradentÂ… is the Antiphon for the Office of the Apostles from the Antiphonal for the Common Saints and is taken from Matthew 10:18. This appears to be a slight variation from the usual Gregorian chant setting of the antiphon.
