1867-80 large uncoloured letters continued, on watermark Spray of Rose, an outstanding display of cds postmarked examples on album leaves, 48 stamps, starting with a couple of wing-margin 3d deep rose shades plate 6 with Tralee and plate 8 with Liverpool Exchange pmks, the 6d types including the five main plate 6 varieties, superb examples of the 9d and 10d, a whole page of the 1/- plates incl. 2x plate 6 with imprint lower margins, St. Thomas on plate 7, three 2/- blues of which two different shades are cds. Also the 1872-73 6d shades to 6d grey (latter Malta cds). Minimum cat. £6,200.
