Gentleman - ivory free from splits and warping, painting free from any notable wear with some expected colour fading. Inner glass with a build up of mildew. Reverse blue enamel border with two large cracks.
Lady - ivory free from splits and warping, painting free from any notable wear with some expected colour fading. Reverse of the glass with some mildew and a hook shaped crack to the right middle. Reverse plait with its mount coming loose from the frame and the hair also coming loose and un tied at this area.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
