A George III Irish Silver Cream or Sauceboat, by Richard Williams, Dublin, Circa 1770, shaped oval and on spreading shaped foot, with gadrooned rim and leaf-capped scroll handle, a/f, 16.5cm wide, 7oz 2dwt, 221gr

Marked underneath with maker's mark, Hibernian and crowned harp. The marks are clear. There is significant wear overall, with the remains of some possible engraving on one side. The wear is also noticeable as a softening to the border. There have been poorly executed solder repairs on each side of the rim.
