Taxidermy: A Cased Late Victorian Little Owl & Jay, circa 1880-1900, by C. Yeoman, Taxidermist, Furrier & Skin Dresser, 96 High Street, Southampton, a full mount adult Little Owl perched upon a small branch above a full mount European Jay below, mounted above soil and painted faux rocks, amidst a natural setting of tall dry grasses and fauna, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 49.5cm by 21.5cm by 47cm, bearing taxidermist's full paper trade label to verso.
