A Group of 19th Century and Later Chinese Teapots, including Yixing and porcelain examples (one tray)

Sold for £160


 

Square form Yixing example - chips to three of the corners. The cover with several chips also. The circular Yixing teapot - with losses to the interior rim and a chip to the cover. Large chip to the foot and some surface scratches. One blue and white teapot is restored to the handle, cover and spout. The other blue and white teapot - bearing wax seal and with firing flaws. White glazed teapot - with a hairline crack to the cover. Remaining teapot with partial wax seal, glaze imperfections and wear. Oil bottle - with chip and hairline crack to the cover, and wear and rubbing throughout.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
