Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Trio of Ruffs (Calidris pugnax), circa 1880-1900, a trio of three full mounts in juvenile plumage, stood upon un-finished groundwork, set against a pale cream painted interior, enclosed within a period pine framed single-glass display case, 61.5cm by 20cm by 33cm, bearing hand written paper data label to interior lower left -"Ruff, Philomachus pugnax, Juvenile Plumage, C.M. Alderson Coll".
