[Richard Brinsley Tickell (1782-1805), son of Richard Tickell the playwright and satirist. After his father’s suicide in 1793, he was cared for by his mother’s brother-in-law, the Irish playwright and politician Richard Brinsley Sheridan who arranged his entry to the Navy].
