Antlers/Horns: Axis Deer or Chital (Axis axis), circa 1855, India, adult buck antlers on cut upper skull, seven points (4+3), right antler 87.5cm (34½"), left antler 90.5cm (35½"), tip to tip 59cm (24¼"), widest span 66.5cm (26¼"), height 84cm, mounted upon a shaped shield, reference within game book entry - No 69 Chital (Cervus axis), 34½", 4¾", 23⅜", 24¼" (4+4 points) -The following 24 specimens were killed by George Greig, late 93rd High's, and sent here in 1899 on the death of Col A.C. Nightingale in whose house there were hanging".

To include a collection of Indian and European Game Trophies from Kilberry Castle, Argyll. Many of the trophies date from the second half of the 19th century, with rare and historical specimens including Asian Water Buffalos, Astor Markhors, Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards and Himalayan Tahr.
