A Silver Mounted Bog Oak Photograph Album.
Bog oak boards, the upper board ornately carved in relief with an Irish scene, composed of a sighthound laid before a round tower with a harp and tree adjacent, oak leaves and acorns below ground level, a border of shamrock which enters the image, the upper border with a coronet. Simple shamrock carved lower board. Silver mounted with clasp (opens without key), hallmarked London 1863, maker RK, all edges gilt, morroco spine. Well stocked with carte de visite portraits.
