A Victorian Burr Walnut Piano Top Davenport, circa 1850, bearing retailer's label of Fraser Sons & Co, Buchanan Street, Glasgow, the hinged fall with sliding mechanism and an inset green and gilt leather skiver, the base of four real and four sham drawers, raised on a platform base with recessed castors, 56cm by 56cm by 92cm

In very good cosmetic condition throughout. Fairly light (uniform) walnut colour. Sprung mechanism is working, but some pressure needed on the lid before releasing the mechanism which is hidden in the internal right hand drawer. Minor repairs around drawers and some very small areas of veneer either missing or patched around the platform base. Internal writing surface has a modern green leather skiver. No key, but all drawers open. 150318
