Taxidermy: Mid-Asian Ibex (Capra sibirica alaiana) circa 1893, Baltistan, Kashmir, adult male neck mount looking straight ahead, right horn 95cm (37"), left horn 92.5cm (36¼"), tip to tip 22cm (8¾"), from the wall 45cm, height 73cm, faint painted number to left horn 37, reference within game book entry - "37 Ibex shot by J. Campbell, 93rd Highlanders (my son), in Baltistan, Kashmir in 1893"

To include a collection of Indian and European Game Trophies from Kilberry Castle, Argyll. Many of the trophies date from the second half of the 19th century, with rare and historical specimens including Asian Water Buffalos, Astor Markhors, Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards and Himalayan Tahr.
