Westmorland Elections.
A collection of fifteen nineteenth century Election broadsides for Westmorland, comprising:
Westmorland Election, March 1820, five sheets of poll results published by Lough of Appleby, a sheet of verse relating to the candidate Henry Brougham, extracted from the Kendal Chronicle and a bill discussing the status of Brougham as a Jacobin (Kendal Imprint);
Kendal Election, December 1833, recommendation of W. Crackenthorpe and J. Brancker;
Kendal Election, October and November 1843, an address regarding Henry Warburton, two addresses from Henry Warburton and one from an 'elector' opposing Colonel Thompson;
Kendal Election, 1847, address from and to George Carr Glynn;
Kendal Voters List, July 1868, twelve voters, folded (repaired tear).
An address 'to the Electors of the East Ward', no date, possibly later printing. (15)
