An Early 20th White Mother-of-Pearl Fan, the gauze leaf mounted à l'Anglaise and applied with cream silk in the upper section, the whole them embroidered with silver sequins and panels of silver foil. The verso is plain. Guard length 8.5 inches or 21cm. Together with a cream card fan box embossed in gold within the lid "J Duvelleroy BY APPOINTMENT LONDON, 167 Regent Street W"; and A Striking Early 20th Century Mother-of-Pearl Fan, the monture dyed a rich ruby red, the guards gilded and silvered in scrolling and foliate designs. The double leaf lacks a recto, the verso of beige gauze remaining. The rivets bear red stones. Guard length 9.5 inches or 24cm. Together with a dark pink silk covered card fan box, the lining a bright pink silk (2)

Fan 1 - Generally very good, one glue stain under the gauze on the lower guard. Fan 2 - The monture is in good order, the recto of the leaf is not present.
