A First World War DSO Group of Six Medals, awarded to Lieutenant Colonel F.M. Middleton D.S.O., T.D., comprising Distinguished Service Order, 1914-15 Star (MAJOR), British War Medal, Victory Medal with MID oak leaf, Coronation Medal 1911, and Territorial Decoration in silver gilt, with hallmarks for London 1917, the reverse engraved 1898-1918, court mounted in a glazed display frame, together with his commission to 2nd Lieutenant, Volunteer Forces (1st West Riding of Yorkshire Volunteer Artillery) dated 2nd April 1898, three Mentioned in Despatches citations dated 30th November 1915, 13th November 1916 and 7th November 1917, a DSO citation dated 3rd June 1918, and a photocopy of the Supplement to the London Gazette dated 27th August 1918 in which he is recognised as having been awarded the Territorial Decoration; a 1914-15 Star, awarded to LIEUT. J.A. MIDDLETON , R.F.A.
