A Second World War Group of Six Medals, comprising 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal, Defence Medal and Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Elizabeth II) to INSPR. GERALD G.T. DIGBY, swing mounted as worn, and an RAF Bomber Command tribute medal in case of issue with certificate, with a torn ticket for RAF Wratting Common Memorial Trust to commemorate the unveiling of a memorial 28th May 1989, numbered 251; a Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (George VI), awarded to FREDERICK S.DIGBY, together with a Metropolitan Police Whistle, a walnut truncheon with leather wrist strap, a Warrant to Gerald Gilson Timpson Digby appointing him as Warrant Officer Royal Air Force 27th May 1946, and a Metropolitan Police Certificate to Gerald Gilson Timpson Digby of Airport Division, certifying that he joined the Metropolitan Police as a Constable on 22nd September 1947 and retired as an Inspector on 21st December 1976 (qty)
