A George III Mahogany Striking Balloon Shaped Table Clock, circa 1800, balloon shaped case with brass carrying handle, bracket feet, 7-1/2-inch convex painted dial with Roman numerals and indistinctly signed, twin fusee movement with an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, movement backplate engraved throughout with scroll, floral and a central urn decoration, 41.5cm high over handle see illustration

05.06.19. Case surfaces are rubbed in parts, case with small dents and scratches in parts, brass surfaces are discoloured, back door with fret missing, back door is slightly bowed and not closing correctly, back door with small cracks, dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track faded, painted surfaces are crazed and with chips, indistinctly signed, movement is dirty, movement in going order.
