~ An Unusual Scottish Column Shaped Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Wm Paterson, Edinburgh, circa 1820, drum shaped pediment with a carved shell crest, column shaped trunk, faceted recessed panelled plinth, 13-inch circular painted dial with Roman numerals and signed, seconds and date dials, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 214cm high see illustration

06.06.19. Hood sides with cracks and one piece of veneer is missing, trunk and plinth with small dents, plinth with chips and scuff marks, dial with scratches, winding holes with minor chips, movement looks clean and complete. No woodworm, door key missing, side door not opening.
