The Indictment, Arraignment, Tryal, and Judgment, at large, of Twenty-Nine Regicides, The Murtherers of his Sacred Majesty King Charles the Ist, of Glorious Memory. London Printed but Reprinted in Dublin, and Sold by Samuel Fairbrother, Bookseller, 1730. 8vo, later calf-backed marbled boards; pp. [2], xxx, 366 [2]; provenance: armorial bookplate of Stones on upper pastedown. Lacking frontis. A later revival of the 1660 edition, with expanded appendices of speechs and prayers not originally present.

The Tryal of William Viscount Stafford for High Treason. Printed by the Assignes of John Bill, Thomas Newcomb, and Henry Hills, 1680. 4to, full leather; pp. [2], 218. The record of the notorious condemnation of Stafford for plotting the death of Charles II. Stafford was a victim of the Popish Plot accusations of Titus Oates and his death (like that of Oliver Plunkett) helped sway public opinion away from the persecutions.

. Regicides has a little marking, spotting, etc internally but generally a very good copy, only lacking frontis. Stafford with some marking of boards, upper board bowing slightly outwards, some toning, mainly marginal, variable marginal waterstaining to lower corners, variable marking foxing, spotting etc, but very good.
