Hinged lid has a triangular section of timber spliced in. Lock replaced. Chest is open but no key. General scuffs and losses and minor decay around the front legs, otherwise good. Specific question: The interior is structurally sound. Suitable for storing heavy goods. The hinged hid has later batons screwed to the underside for strengthening. Legs structurally sound but some minor decay mainly around the front right leg.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
