This sale will include a good selection of traditional paintings including watercolours, oil paintings and portraits as well as affordable modern and contemporary art. Notable works include several paintings by artist, illustrator and author Mike Wilks (b.1947).

Mike Wilks was born in London and studied at a junior art school before attending Croydon College of Art. After working as a graphic designer for several years he founded his own design company, which flourished and later allowed him to resign and concentrate on painting and drawing. After publishing a number of best-selling books, Wilks became the focus on an award-winning BBC arts documentary 'Mike Wilks - Making His Mark'. Since then, he has continued to write, paint and draw, and his works can be found in public and private collections in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Also on offer in the sale is a good Private Collection of Japanese Cloisonne Vases, over 130 lots of Jewellery and over 100 lots of Silver.
